Live-feed from the Gaza Freedom Flotilla

I’ve just been watching the live-stream from the Turkish boat provided here. Participants in the humanitarian-aid venture get the chance to stand up to the camera from time to time.
Right now, it’s early Monday morning there and they say three Israeli navy patrol boats are circling them… But they’re still sailing on.
10,892 people are currently watching the livestream.
This is something new, sophisticated, and fascinating in nonviolent social action. The Turkish-Islamist organization IHH is to be heartily congratulated for the lead role it has taken in organizing the aid flotilla.

  1. This is the best “Brand Israel Campaign”, the state of Israel can do to improve its political stand worldwide .
I assure you, from Toronto, that storming the eight flotillas carrying aid by peaceful unarmed activists to a 1.5 million Palestinians under siege and killing 10 activists or more and injuring many, is the best branding Israel can do do to show her true colour .

  2. Helena
BBC is reporting two dead and thirty wounded after Israeli troops lnded from helicopters.
Turkish TV stopped broadcasting at gunpoint.

  3. Oops! The cowardly IOF has confirmed that the Free Gaza flotilla participants were all unarmed and has, according to news reports, killed about 10 of them.
I can’t begin to tell you how surprised I’m not.
